Thursday at the BMW Championship Tiger Woods shot a 62 (-8) his lowest round of the year. Tiger Woods changed back to his Scotty Cameron putter, and boy did it pay off. Starting on the 10th hole Tiger holed a a 20 footer for birdie, following that up with a birdie on 12 and 13 his 3rd and 4th hole of the day. Then at the 556 yard par 5 16th hole tiger made eagle after hitting his second shot to about 5 feet. After making 1 more birdie Tiger Woods closed out his front 9 shooting 29 (-6). Then Tiger started his back 9 with birdie at 1 his 10th hole to go to -7 for the day, Tiger par the next 5 holes. On the 7th hole tiger 16th hole of the day Tiger hit his tee shot 274 yards which left him with 109 yards in for his second shot, which he hit to less than a foot to make his 8th birdie of the day. Tiger Woods made bogey on 17 but rebounded to birdie his last hole of the day finishing at -8 for the day to lead day 1 of the tournament.
This has to be one of his best round of the year, along with his 64 on Sunday of the PGA Championship, and his 66 on Saturday of the British Open.
