Non sportsblog: My 15 favorite movies

I love movies. I try to watch at least 1 new movie every week, but no matter how many films i see these 15 movies i could watch thousands of times and never get tired of them. These are my favorite 15 movies

  1. Pain & Gain (2013, R) Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Tony Shalhoub and Bar Paly (big fan). A must watch if you enjoy really fucked up comedy/torture crime films. Some people don’t like this movie because it took a very sad real-life incident that happened in the 90’s and turned it into a comedy film, but i don’t care, plus how could you not love watching Dwayne Johnson rob a bank while on cocaine. IMDb rating: 6.4 My rating: 10
  2. Whiplash (2014, R) Starring: Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons. I absolutely love this movie its as simple as that, J.K. Simmons yelling terrible insults at his students is great. This movie really helps show how much work is involved in becoming great at something IMDb rating: 8.5 My rating: 10
  3. The Wolf of Wall Street (2013, R) Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie (big fan) and Matthew McConaughey. This Movie is AMAZING with AMAZING scenes like Mark Hanna (Matthew McConaughey) lunch scene with Jordan Belfort  (Leonardo DiCaprio), pretty much any scene with Margot Robbie (especially the one with the hidden camera in the teddy bears eye) and the best scene of the entire movie when Leonardo DiCaprio drives his Ferrari Testarossa back from the country club while high as fuck on Quaaludes. IMDb rating: 8.2 My rating: 10
  4. Into the Wild (2007, R) Starring: Emile Hirsch, Vince Vaughn and Kristen Stewart. This movie is about a guy who decides he going to hike up to Alaska and live by himself on his way he encounters some super crazy shit, however once he made it to Alaska he unfortunately died after accidentally eating a poisonous plant. Plus its a true story which makes it even more awesome but also a much more sad movie. IMDb rating: 8.1 My rating: 10 (are you noticing a trend?)
  5. The Prestige (2006,PG-13) Starring: Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson (big fan) and Michael Caine. The Prestige has a little bit of everything in it magic, mystery, suspense, drama and death. I mean put Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale in a movie together and i can guarantee it will be a must watch. IMDb rating: 8.5 My rating: 10
  6. Prisoners (2013, R) Starring: Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano. IMDb rating: 8.1 My rating: 10
